chimney stack. Pend, single ground and 2 lst floor windows in remainder of building. 12-pane glazing in all lst floor timber sash and case windows. End and ridge stacks; corrugated asbestos roof.
Unusual shop front incorporating pilasters with composite capitals. The front wallhead chimney stack is characteristic of some early houses in Banff and Portsoy. Entry to No 53 is through pend.
