Description

Circa 1770 with additions c. 1980. 2-storey semi-circular
5-bay bow of former garden front. Ashlar.
Engaged ionic columns rise through 2-storeys to support
entablature with dentilled cornice and blocking course. Band
course over ground floor.
15-pane sash windows to ground floor and 9-pane to 1st,
latter with upper sash larger. Blind windows to outer bays.
Built on to the bow is modern semi-circle of painted rendered
brick with ashlar dressings, making circular house. Porch of
2 Roman doric columns with entablature and blocking course
from former house. Lugged architrave to double leaf panelled
door. Cill band to ground floor 12-pane windows. Band course
over ground floor. 9-pane sashes to 1st floor except over
door where 12-pane, fibre glass entablature, etc matches
original.
Conical slated roof with chimney at apex.

Statement of Interest

House demolished except bow which forms Garden front.
