1809-10. 2-storey, 4-bay small obtusely angled tenement in irregular terrace. Coursed rubble with painted margins, ashlar quoins and quoin strips.
NW (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: part-glazed timber door with 2-pane fanlight in bay to right of centre, blocked door immediately to left and 2 windows beyond to left, further window (altered from door) to right. 4 windows to 1st floor.
SW (BURRELL SQUARE) ELEVATION: 3 windows (grouped 2-1) to each floor. Single storey lean-to rubble and render bay to outer right.
12-pane glazing pattern in replacement timber sash and case windows. Grey slates. Coped rubble and ashlar stack with cans. Cast-iron downpipe with decorative rainwater hopper.
Formerly listed as 22 Burrell Square. The square was laid out in1809-10 but was still incomplete by 1822. Parts since replaced and others perhaps never built thus the square no longer has architectural unity. It was originally called 'The Octagon' or 'Sexagon'.
