Statement of Interest

B-Group with Balgownie House and Boundary Walls. Depicted as a boat-house on the 1st Edition OS map. The boathouse was built on the edge of the Firth of Forth with an arched entrance to the water (now blocked). However, in 1906 the adjacent railway line was built, which separated the building from the water. This was the private boathouse for the Cunninghame's who owned Balgownie House to the N (see separate listing).
