Description

Late 18th century. 3-storey, 5-bay tenement with shops at ground; reconstructed behind facade. Harled; plain rendered ground floor on E elevation. Painted stone margins. Shop fascia abutting 1st floor cills.

E (HIGH STREET) ELEVATION: tripartite shop fronts to No 101 at left, with door at centre, display windows on inner return, and windows flanking. 2-bay shop front to No 103 to right, with door and window. Late 19th century shop fronts with flat-arched openings, plate glass windows and panelled aprons, and consoled cornice with off-centre consol between fascias. Regular fenestration to 1st and 2nd floors

W ELEVATION: modern stair tower in bay to right, with door on NW return and 2 windows to W; unevenly piended roof. Door to outer left. Regular fenestration to 1st and 2nd floors.

N ELEVATION: ADJOINED TO Nos 105-111 High Street (see Separate listing).

8-pane glazing pattern in sash and case windows to E elevation, small-pane glazing pattern in modern fixed windows on W elevation. No skews or stacks to steeply pitched roof.

B Group with Nos 95-99, 105-111 and 113 High Street. This building was reconstructed in 1982.
