Earlier 19th century. 3-storey corner block (1 of a pair) with half-piend roof. 5 bays (1-1-3) to High Street, 1 covered corner bay in recessed panel, and 3 bays (2-1) to return elevation. Finely droved ashlar. Modern polished granite shopfront at ground floor with return elevation windows blocked and rendered. Cill course at 1st and 2nd floors, not continued in 3 bays to right on W elevation. Eaves cornice and blocking course.
W (HIGH STREET) ELEVATION: modern shop front and entrance in 2 bays to left; pend at centre with iron gate; shop door, flanked by paired windows to each side, in 3 bays to right.
CORNER BAY: Tuscan column-mullioned tripartite bow windows at 1st and 2nd floors.
N ELEVATION: modern shop front. Regular fenestration at 1st and 2nd floors. Windows blind in bay to right.
E ELEVATION: various modern roughcast additions to rear, with 3-storey gabled block running E adjoined to N return elevation. Higher ridge line and additional storey beyond centre stack to left. 3-storey rubble and harled gabled block to left.
S ELEVATION: half rubble, half harled above adjoining lower 3-storey building, Nos 122-126 High Street (see separate listing).
Variety of plate glass and small-pane glazing patterns in sash and case windows. Broad mutual stack at centre of W pitch. Grey slates.
B Group with Nos 100 and 102, 104 and 106, 108 and 110, 112 and 114, 116-120, 122-126, and 140 and 142 High Street. This building forms a pair with Nos 140 and 142 High Street (see separate listing).
