Description

Probably John MacLeod, architect. Built circa 1870-80. Asymmetrical 2-storey villa. Stugged ashlar with polished dressings. South elevation: right bay deeply recessed, with bipartites. Entrance in advanced central bay, round-arched and moulded door under gabled head; bipartite above, with relieving arch; left bay 2-storey canted window, corbelled to square at eaves, with advanced gable. String courses between floors; gables have decorative barge boards. Projecting eaves; piended and gabled finialed slate roof. Single and mullioned windows to other elevations: wing to rear.
