Description

Early 19th century. Single segmental arch and lesser arch over lade to S both with ashlar quoined voussoirs. Parapet dismantled but had balustered ends (evidence of masonry lying in vicinity).

Statement of Interest

Architecturally the most distinguished of the bridges over the Dighy, apart from the iron bridges at Linlathen. Presumably was intended as an access to Baldovan House but the road was never completed and it is only marked as 'footbrige' on first edition OS map. Now in a state of decay.
