Style of Thoms and Wilkie circa 1925. Symmetrical pair of harled semi-detached single-storey and attic Arts and

Crafts houses. Sited regardless of steep fall of ground.

ELEVATION TO STREET: each house has canted inner bay,

off-centre door and small outer window. Broad projecting

eaves. Prominent M gable rises from eaves, with 4-light

attic windows. Modern garage added to S.

Steep slate roofs. Central stack, upper part brick. Flat

gables with neither skews nor eaves. Casement windows,

6 and 8-pane glazing pattern.

Low harled and coped boundary wall.
