Description

1872, with later addition. Coursed ashlar rubble masonry quay and pier paved with whinstone setts and flagstone margins; reinforced concrete extension seaward at right angles.

BOLLARDS: 21 bollards, mostly cast-iron and of similar tapered and capped design; some plain replacements.

LAMP STANDARDS: 4 decorative cast-iron lamp standards, 2 with 'Dundee Harbour' on ladder bars.

MOORING RINGS: mooring rings of various sizes on quary and pier.

Statement of Interest

A jetty appears on this site on the 1857-58 OS map, but the present structure is presumed to be that referred to by Malcolm.
