Built as a joint theatre and cinema 1920-22 and the interior remains largely intact from then. Became only a cinema and then a Bingo Hall until 2006. Renovated as a theatre in 2008 after a major rescue campaign. The neon sign dating from 1950 was reinstated in 2011.
