1825/30. Two 3-storey 3-bay tenements (nos 5, 7 slightly
taller) with shops at ground. Droved red ashlar.
String over ground floor partially obscured by shop
fascias; pilastered and consoled shop front at nos 5,
7; Sash windows, mainly with altered glazing; cill
courses; cornice; straight skews; end stacks; slate
roofs.

Statement of Interest

Church Crescent opened up to link with Edinburgh Road in

1825 (see G Reid, THE BOOK OF GREYFRIARS 1927, p.15).
