Dated 1865. 2-storey 3-bay, L-plan gabled suburban cottage. Squared, snecked and stugged cream sandstone ashlar with polished dressings to front; rubble to rear; projecting eaves with exposed rafters.
N ELEVATION: base course; stop-chamfered arrises, ashlar mullions. Deep-set panelled door with letterbox fanlight at centre under eaves. Gabled right bay projecting from main body of house with tripartite window at ground; corbelled to broader width at 1st floor with bipartite window largely in gablehead. Gabled left bay with canted window at ground (bipartite to front) corbelled to square at 1st floor with bipartite window and datestone 1865 in gablehead; roof cut back at eaves. Set back to right later single storey lean-to link to garage.
E ELEVATION: gable (return of front range) to right with overhanging eaves; windows to left at ground and in gablehead. Plain 2-bay range set back to left.
W ELEVATION: blank gable of front range largely obscured by link to garage.
Timber sash and case windows multi-pane windows; lying-pane to front. Grey slates; brick stack with octagonal cans.
GATEPIERS, BOUNDARY WALL AND RAILINGS: low ashlar wall to front with saddleback ashlar coping; pair of obelsik gatepiers at centre and single one terminating wall to W; Modern wrought-iron railings and gate with repeating heart motif. Rubble return walls to sides with boulder coping.
