Description

Mid 18th century with later rebuilding. 3-storey 2-bay shop with flat above. Plain 3-bay rendered shopfront at ground with door flanked by large windows. Upper floors with render removed from patched rubble; windows to each bay, grouped to centre; painted ashlar margins and eaves course. Velux rooflight. Projecting gable to rear with steps to panelled door and window at ground; single window at 1st floor; return to right with windows to both floors.

Fixed 12-pane timber windows to front; 4-pane timber sash and case to rear. Grey slates; ashlar coped mutual skew; brick stack.

INTERIOR: panelled shutters and doors and simple moulded cornices. Plaster recently removed from interior exposed some timber framed walls with handmade brick infill.
