Description

Earlier 19th century. 3-storey 3-bay house with shop at ground; stands taller and slightly proud of No 47. Cream sandstone ashlar. Base course; full entablature at ground; cornice; long and short rusticated quoins. Regular fenestration; 1st floor windows with architraves (centre blind). 5 bays at ground regularly disposed and divided by ashlar strips; 3-bay shop to right with 2-leaf panelled door at centre flanked by plate glass shop windows; deep-set panelled door with 2-pane letterbox fanlight and fixed 9-pane window to left.

Irregular and extended rear elevation.

12-pane timber sash and case windows. Grey slates; ashlar coped skews; rendered corniced apex stacks.
