Description

Mid 19th century. 3-storey 3-bay house with shop at ground. Stugged cream sandstone ashlar; rubble to side and rear. Regular fenestration.

NE (MURRAY STREET) ELEVATION: at ground, panelled door with rectangular plate glass fanlight to outer right, framed by rusticated pilasters with shallow nailhead capitals; modern tiled and glazed shopfront inserted to left with further pilaster at corner; unifying cornice. Windows to upper floors.

SE ELEVATION: blank gable.

SW (REAR) ELEVATION: irregular 3-bay; shop extends at ground. Slightly projecting drum stairtower displaced at centre with closet window to right at 1st floor. Right bay with bipartite window at 1st floor.

12-pane timber sash and case windows. Grey slates; ashlar coped skews; brick apex stacks with ashlar bases.
