Description

19th century incorporating earlier fabric, with later alterations.

Irregular 2-storey and attic, 5-bay terraced house incorporating pend at ground as garage. Pebble-dashed; cement margins.

At ground, modern door to inner left bay and (former) pend with modern garage door to inner right bay; single windows to centre and right bays, bipartite window with timber mullion to left bay. At 1st floor

3 modern windows, that to right broader. Pair of velux rooflights.

Rear elevation unseen 1993.

4-pane timber sash and case windows at ground, timber casements to 1st floor. Steeply pitched roof; crowstepped skews with beak skewputts; rebuilt brick stacks; grey slates.

Statement of Interest

Contributes to the group of Nos 30-40 Newtown Street, and clearly of considerable antiquity, despite more recent modernisation.
