Description

Mid-late 18th century house refaced late 19th century.
2-storey, 4-bay with shopfront and attic. White painted
render, painted channelled ashlar quoins and window
architraves.
E ELEVATION: to High Street. Doorway 2nd bay from left
with bipartite window to left. Late 18th century canted
shopfront across 2 bays to right with door at centre.
4 windows at 1st floor with bracketted cills. 4 gabled
slated dormers to attic with bracketted eaves, bracketted
barge boards and segmental arched windows. Plate glass
to sash and case windows. Band course at 1st floor level
eaves band with bracketted gutter.
Grey slates, straight mutual skews with scroll skewputts,
sandstone stacks.

Refacing indicated by survival of stack and skewputts.
