Description

Circa 1840. 2-storey, 4-bay house with attic, fronting
High Street.
Squared and coursed grey sandstone ashlar, 1st floor cill
course. Door with strip fanlight to 2nd bay from left
with shallow bracketted porch. Window to left.
Shopfront with door and strip fanlight to centre across 2
bays to right.
Windows to each bay at 1st floor.
Piend roofed slate-hung canted dormers to attic in 1st
and 3rd bays from left.
Gable wall to N with doorway and window to left. Window
to attic at right.
Sash and case windows with predominantly 12-pane
glazing pattern.
Grey slates, straight skews, sandstone end stacks.
