Description

1830. 2-storey, 9-bay simple classical mirrored terraced pair. Regularly disposed bays grouped 2-1-3-1-2; three central bays pedimented and slightly advanced; lower advanced outer pairs. Polished ashlar sandstone. Base course, cill course to 1st floor windows, bracketted to centre 5 bays.

NE (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: entrance doors in 3rd and 7th bay; narrow rectangular plate glass fanlights and bracketted cornice above. Blind windows to centre bay; pedimented 1st floor windows breaking eaves to outer paired bays.

SW ELEVATION: not seen (1995).

Grey slate piended roof, raised at central bays. Ashlar coped wallhead stacks.

INTERIOR: not seen (1995).

RAILINGS: cast-iron railings to street.
