Circa 1860. Plain classical tenement, 4-storey and attic with shops at ground. Cream sandstone, ashlar to principal elevations, polished at ground, droved above, coursed rubble with stugged dressings to rear and side. Band course and cornice above ground floor; cill band course at 3rd floor; eaves cornice.
NE (GREAT JUNCTION STREET) ELEVATION: 10-bay; chamfered reveals to doorways; modern replacement shopfronts, common stair doorways with 3-pane fanlights. Single windows to floors above; blinded windows to 7th bay. 5 single dormers with half-piend roofs.
SW (REAR) ELEVATION: irregular windows; wallhead stacks.
12-pane timber sash and case windows, plate glass to rear. Slate roof with metal flashings; apex, wallhead (see above) and mutual stacks.
INTERIOR: not seen 1993.
Part of a continuous, similarly detailed group with the earlier Nos 1-5 Great Junction Street.
