Now styled the Glenogle Swim Centre, the pool re-opened in 2010 after a campaign to save it encouraged a mult-million pound make-over by Edinburgh Leisure. The 'Glennies' were Victorian municipal baths built to serve the Stockbridge area, including the 'Colonies', workers' dwellings built opposite in the 1860s without baths.
