Description

1815. 2-storey, 3-bay symmetrical classical house; 2-storey wing adjoining to E. Lightly stugged, cream sandstone ashlar. Base course; dividing band course; cill course to 1st floor windows; cornice and blocking course.

N (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: central doorway with panelled door; plate glass fanlight; panelled pilasters to corniced, painted doorpiece; single window to 1st floor above and in bays to outer left and right. 2-storey wing with panelled door; 2-light fanlight; single window flanking to right and at 1st floor above.

Plate glass, timber, sash and case windows; etched glass to window at 1st floor above doorway. Grey slate pitched roof; pedimented bipartite dormer; coped rubble wallhead stacks to house; single stack to E wing; moulded cans.

INTERIOR: not seen 1995.

BOUNDARY WALLS AND PEDESTRIAN GATE: low coursed rubble boundary walls; droved ashlar gatepiers with corniced pyramidal caps; pedestrian gate adjoining house to W.
