Description

Circa 1863. 2-storey, 3-bay rectangular-plan villa. Squared and snecked sandstone rubble; tooled ashlar with polished dressings to S elevation. Base course; overhanging timber bracketted eaves; decorative bargeboard to central gable; chamfered reveals.

S (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: central doorway with raised surround, consoled cornice and carved stone coping; panelled door; plate glass fanlight. Corniced canted windows at ground to outer left and right; single windows above breaking eaves in gabled dormerheads. Single storey service wing adjoining to outer left.

W ELEVATION: single storey piend-roofed service wing at ground.

4-pane sash and case windows. Grey slate pitched roof; corniced gablehead stacks; moulded octagonal cans; coped gables; gabletted skewputts.

INTERIOR: not seen 1990.

BOUNDARY WALLS: high coped rubble boundary wall to street, with pedestrian gateway through slapping. High coped mutual boundary walls.
