Description

Thomas Gibson, circa 1878. 4-storey, 4-bay tenement, forming part of terrace. Coursed orange sandstone with polished ashlar dressings. Base course; string course above ground floor: corbel table at 3rd floor; eaves cornice; raised window surrounds; chamfered reveals.

E ENTRANCE elevation: chamfered arrisses to doorway in 3rd bay; panelled door; plate glass fanlight; single window flanking to right; single windows above; pedimented dormerhead with stone finial. Full-height canted windows in 2nd and 4th bays; dividing cornices; facetted pyramidal roofs; wrought-iron finials. Single windows in bay to outer left; pedimented dormerhead with stone finial. Plate glass sash and case windows. Grey slate roof; corniced mutual stacks.

INTERIORS: not seen 1991.
