Description

Circa 1855-60. Symmetrical 2-storey, 3-bay house; tooled
ashlar, ashlar dressings, rubble flanks. Advanced
gabled centre bay with centre door approached by flight
of steps with original cast-iron handrail; bandcourse to
ground floor; outer 1st floor windows rise barely through
wallhead to gablets; corniced end stacks; sawtooth skews to
centre advanced gable; lying-pane glazing; slate roof.
Coped rubble garden walls.

Statement of Interest

Does not appear on T S Hutchon's 1855 map of Elgin but on

the 1868 OS.
