Description

Later 19th century terrace with stylised Greek revival detailing. 2 storeys plus attic over basement, symmetrical front with projecting bays. Polished ashlar, some painted detailing. Friezes at pilastered doorcases and at eaves with disc ornament, windows are architraved, flat-margined or unmargined - plate glass sashes; prominent horizontal bands and blocked main cornice with blocking course; pedimented attic dormers set in slated and leaded mansard; paired canted inner bays with steep french roofs, shallow bowed 3-window outer bays with roof curved over and fish-scale slated. Roof leadwork ornamented with rosettes; banded ashlar stacks. Set behind low boundary walls, steps to doors. Asymmetrical flank elevation to Blairbeth Road.
