Description

Late 19th century 4 storey tenement with shops at ground floor, simplified "Thomsonesque" detailing to upper floors (eg discs in window friezes), shallow advanced ends with steep-pitched French roofs (fish-scale slated and with pedimented dormers; possibly iron-crested originally); symmetrical (through curved angle bay at north not duplicated at south), with 1, 2 and 3 light windows.

Polished ashlar the northern half of the building stone-cleaned; original glazing single-pane sash and case; main roof with concrete tiles, rebuilt stacks.
