Description

Church by J Galt, 1911-12, earlier church alongside, an early work by John Honeyman , 1865, now serves as hall.

Gothic.

PRESENT CHURCH built of bull-faced red ashlar, polished dressings; symmetrical gabled front to street, buttressed centre doorway, flanking 3-light vestibule windows, large traceried window over; flanking bays, each with gable to flank elevation presumably contain gallery staircases; ranges to rear including church officer's flat; extensive series of leaded windows.

HALL built of yellow ashlar with lancets, unusual semi-circular E end with roof curved over; stepped 3-light windows to transepts, gabled porch at E end of S wall; further range to W.

Slated roofs. Iron-railed boundary to street with stone gatepiers.
