Roadbridge built 1832, widened by James Gibson engineer, retaining profile, 1907 (inscription). Single segmental arch carrying roadway over River cart. Honey coloured ashlar (bolection moulded arch presumably 1907), panelled spandrels, piers at ends, red granite balustraded parapets (also 1907) with intermediate blocks.
