Thomas Baird, 1923-25. Single storey double villa. Unusual symmetrical composition, U-plan front with canted windows in outer gables, circular porches recessed on outer flanks, these with round-arched doorways and leaded big bell-cast roofs. Also renges to rear. Glazing pattern is distinctive, margined and with cusping to upper sashes. Ashlar, modern looking attic mansard. Decorative stacks, main roofs slated.
Petitioners were Baird's wife, Louisa and the wife of his neighbour-to-be, Wm Samson.
