Description

Late 19th century. 3-storey, 4-bay tenement with shops at ground floor. Cream sandstone ashlar, slate roof. Close door and 2 modern shopfronts to ground floor. Continuous pediment band to 1st floor, cill band to 2nd floor, corniced wallhead. Single, paired and tripartite windows with moulded jambs, originally plate glass timber sash and case windows, now mostly replaced with out-of-character modern materials. 2 single windows to 1st floor centre with consoled pediments, 2 window at 2nd floor with corbelled lintels; outer bays comprising slightly advanced 2-storey window panels with segmentall-pedimented tripartite to 1st floor, bipartite to 2nd floor with volutes. Coped stacks.
