Description

Later 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay symmetrical villa. Stugged, snecked grey sandstone with red sandstone ashlar dressings. Base course; stop-chamfered angles; ashlar mullioned windows; bracketted overhanging eaves.

S (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: doorway to centre, 2-leaf panelled doors, plate glass fanlight, half-piend canopy supported on timber posts on low projecting walls flanking steps to entrance. Corniced bipartite windows flanking. Window to centre at 1st floor with raised margins and bracketted cill. Bipartite windows flanking with pilaster-mullions and reveals and round-arched lights.

E ELEVATION: bipartite window to ground and 1st floor to centre, detailed as windows on S elevation.

W ELEVATION: 2 windows at ground and 1st floor to outer left. Single storey modern extension abutting to N angle. Plate glass sash and case windows. Grey slate roof; corniced sandstone end stacks with moulded cans to E.
