Description

1857. 2-storey, 3-bay classical bank. Cream sandstone rubble, ashlar to W elevation. Base course; string course to W; raised margins; eaves course; paired bracketted eaves.

W (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: ashlar porch to centre with Scamozzi Ionic columns, entablature, plain doorway. Slightly advanced tripartite windows flanking with shallow pediments and wreath and garland decoration to tympani. 3 symmetrically disposed windows at 1st floor. Single storey wing to right with bipartite window. Window at ground and 1st floor on return to left. Recessed wing to left with doorway and window at 1st floor.

Variety of plate glass sash and case windows. Grey slate roof, corniced end stack to right with moulded cans.
