Description

Early 19th century. 3-storey, 3-bay tenement with modern shop at ground. Cream and red sandstone rubble; snecked with ashlar dressings to S elevation. Raised margins, eaves lintel course, quoin strips.

S (PRINCESS STREET/ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: door to centre flanked by modern plate glass shop windows, deep fascia. 3 symmetrically disposed windows at 1st and 2nd floor.

N (REAR) ELEVATION: 3 bays with projecting turnpike stair turret to centre, door on right return.

Plate glass sash and case windows, modern windows to upper storey. Grey slate roof.

WASH-HOUSE: single storey, 4-bay detached lean-to block to rear, 2 windows to centre, doors to outer bays. Single pitch slate roof, single flue to centre. Currently in poor condition.
