Description

Circa 1830. 2-storey and attic house, 3 wide bays. Coursed

rubble (white washed), contrasting painted ashlar dressings,

harled flanks. Recessed centre bay with entrance masked by

modern lean-to; blocked tripartite above filling recess with

pilastered and corniced jambs, and blind side lights. Moulded architraves to outer bay windows, corniced in ground floor.

2 piended dormers with original 9-pane glazing. Corniced and

rendered end stacks; slate roof. Wing to rear. Later 19th

century low coped retaining wall with ornate cast-iron railing

and matching pedestrian gate.
