Description

Mid 19th century. 3-storey 3-bay tenement with shop at ground on part co rner site (further street line steps back). Cream stugged and coursed sandstone with ashlar dressings; cill course at 2nd floor. Corniced plate glass shopfront at ground with moulded fascia; deep-set 2-leaf glass door with rectangular fanlight at centre; flanking plate glass display windows with secondary glazing at rear to shop. To right (under cornice) panelled door with rectangular fanlight. Base course. Upper floors with windows to each bay; 1st floor cills at level of cornice. Gabled return to left with single visible bay composted of ashlar shopfront and base course at ground, chamfered corner and single windows above. 4-pane sash and case timber windows (where they survive). Flat ashlar skews, consoled skewputts. Coped rendered stack.
