Description

Early 19th century, 2-storey, 3-bay tenement with shops at ground. Rubble, rendered and lined. Eaves detailing.

N ELEVATION: pend entrance at centre. Shop front to left comprised of door to right and window area to right, fascia above and cill course. 3-bay shop front to right with door at centre, fascia. 2 single windows to off-centre bay under wallhead gable with stack; bipartites to outer bays.

S ELEVATION: projection to right; round stair tower in re-entrant angle.

12-pane glazing in timber sash and case windows at 1st floor. Grey slates. Mutual gable stacks, coped skews.

Statement of Interest

Similar in date and form to its immediate neighbour, No 63 High Street and No 70 opposite.
