Description

Later 18th century, altered to form a house in 1948.
Rectangular, Gothic with 5 bay front to south. Bays
framed by tall clustered gothic shafts carried on plinth
and paired at ends; gothic frieze and cornice, piended
slated roof, coped stacks at flanks. Floor inserted in
1948 to form 2 storeys, new sash and case windows and
quatrefoil panels inserted between ground and 1st floors.

Statement of Interest

A second, smaller, but similarly detailed summer-house to

the west was swept away by the flood of 1948.
