Bouch and Grainger 1845-7. 9-arch viaduct of 7 main segmental arches and smaller arches to each end. Impost block bands. Battered bull- faced ashlar piers with narrow rock-faced ashlar spandrels; ashlar arch rings and parapet. Ashlar soffits.
Linktown Viaduct is situated to the W end of Kirkcaldy on the former North British railway main line, from Edinburgh to Dundee via the Forth Bridge.
