Description

1) Old red sandstone 1' 11" x 1' 6" cross with hollow square
angles and figures; back 2 panels, figures, comb and mirror.
2) Old red sandstone 2' 9" x 1' 9" cross with hollow angles
and interlaced work; beasts, staghunt, double disc and Z-rod.
3) Lower part only, old red sandstone 2' 2" x 1' 8" hollow
square angles with interlaced work, horseman on back.
4) Lower part only, old red sandstone 2' x 1' 6" with angel.
5) Old red sandstone 1' 6" x 1' 4" cross with hollow angles,
interlaced work.

Statement of Interest

Excluded from the Schedule of Ancient Monuments on 6 November,1995. There is no archaeological significance

in their present site. Nos. 1-4 were found during the

demolition of the old Parish Church in 1787 No. 5 was brought

here from the churchyard recently.
