Description

Dated 1838 in gable on south elevation. 2-storey, 4-bay
warehouse, formerly Broomgate Institution. Coursers with
ashlar dressings and plinth. 4 windows to each floor on
south front, 2 central in shallow projection under
pedimented gable head. All with segmental heads and
earred architraves. Stone cornice. Modern entrance to
Castlegate with 2 windows above. Broomgate elevation: 2
tall doors with segmental heads. Straight skews, end
stacks, one modern, slate roof.
