Description

Dated 1824. 2-storey, 3-bay, rectangular-plan house with substantial modern additions to rear. Squared and snecked rubble, random at base, harled at sides and rear; stone mullions to enlarged windows, long and short work sandstone quoins.

S (MAIN) ELEVATION: symmetrical. Door at centre flanked by bipartite windows, regular bays at 1st floor.

W ELEVATION: gable end with windows to left ground and 1st floor, plaque dated 1824 to right.

E ELEVATION: blank, coarse harled gable with single window at ground right.

Small-pane upper sashes and 2-pane lower sash and case windows to front. Red pantiles with slate eaves easing course. Dressed stone, coped wallhead stacks and skews, block skewputts at rear of main house.
