Description

Later 19th century; restored 1971. Scottish Jacobean detail;
2 storeys roughly rectangular. East elevation of 3 bays with
1 rectangular and 1 canted ground floor, gabled over 1st
floor. North front; square central porch, crenellated with
mullioned window; moulded string course forms 1st floor cill.
Carved dormerheads to 1st floor windows, some re-used;
crowstepped gables. All harled with ashlar dressing and
carvings, corniced end and ridge stacks; slate roof. Rubble
wing to south; rubble gighouse now adapted to garage use. 4
square ashlar gate piers linked by low screen wall with
cast-iron railings; pyramidal copes to piers. Cast-iron gates
with Campbell monogram.
