Early 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay inn with bowed bay to S gable at flank to Church Lane. Painted rubble, raised painted margins, rusticated quoins.
Ground floor: central wide doorway, double-leaf panelled door, fanlight; to left 2 plate glass windows, to right, single window. To 1st 3 regularly spaced windows. All sash and case with 2-pane glazing pattern. Moulded eaves band. End skews, coped end stacks with octagonal cans, slate roors, graded to front. Pair of canted, piend-roofed dormers with billet moulding and modern glazing.
Flank to Church Lane with full-height projecting bowed bay with tripartite windows (sidelight to 1st blind), and parapet. Small door at gablehead gives access to this parapet/balcony.
Single storey wing to Chruch Lane.
