Thomas Leadbetter, 1894. 2-storey L-plan classical bank and manager's house. Cream ashlar sandstone front, channelled at ground floor to N. 1st floor cill course and simple eaves cornice. Rubble sides and rear.
N ELEVATION: 2 recessed bays to E with broad advanced pedimented gabled bay to W. Architraved and corniced door with keystone, at right of recessed bays, narrow window to right; 4-light canted window to left with stone balustrade above. Bipartite at 1st floor flanked by pilasters with segmental pediment above intercepting balustrade parapet. Advanced gable with round-arched doorway in recessed pilastered panel; arched fanlight; bipartite to left. Tripartite at 1st floor with pilaster mullions. Carved heraldic shield with acanthus in pediment. Short flights of steps to doorways. Panelled doors. Sash windows with 2-pane upper panels. Raised plain skews. Coped gable head and roof stacks. Red plain tile roof.
INTERIOR: panelled doors and window shutters. Decorative plasterwork cornices and strapwork.
RETAINING WALL: low rubble coped parapet at front.
Currently divided into 2 properties. Plans indicate more lavish design intended, not realised.
