Description

Early 19th century with later additions. 3-bay house
with wings. South front: 2-storey over basement with single
storey wing to west. Ashlar; band course over basment;
double-leaf panelled door flanked by Corinthian engaged
columns with entablature and block, sash windows with
altered glazing. Eaves band and cornice with blocking
course raised over centre bay. Slate roof with end stacks.
South elevation: 3-storey, symmetrical 3-bay centre with
single storey wing to east and 2-storey to west. Ashlar.
3 windows of centre block set slightly forward and
pedimented.
Pilastered and corniced doorpiece. 12-pane glazing to
centre block. 2-storey canted window to west wing with
lying-pane glazing. Eaves cornice, with blocking course
to west wing.
Simple railings to area and steps approaching south
door. Gothic garden pavilion. 2-storey, square rubble with
ashlar margins. Pointed windows and doors to each floor.
Upper floor entered from terrace. Roofless.
