Description

Date 1873. 3-storey terraced shop with flats above and hall to rear. Squared snecked and stugged cream sandstone ashlar with polished dressings. Regular fenestration; stop-chamfered arrises; segmental-headed windows. Segmental-headed pend to right at ground; modern plate glass shopfront to left. Roll-moulded lintels at 1st floor. Stepped corbel course at 2nd floor; windows breaking eaves with gabled dormerheads slightly corbelled out at eaves; framed central window with in datestone in gablehead. Harled hall to rear. 4-pane timber sash and case windows. Grey slates; ashlar-coped skews; corbel skewputts; coped ashlar apex stacks.

INTERIOR: hall to rear of shop with open timber hammerbeam roof.
