Description

Circa 1830, style of William Robertson, architect, Elgin, probably incorporating earlier work; recent rehabilitation as flatted dwellings. 2-storey, L-plan range. 4 regular bays to Culbert Street; also 4 slightly irregular bays to Low Street, linked by bowed and recessed angle. Harled, tooled ashlar margins. 8- and 12-pane glazing in timber sash and case windows; margined and coped end and ridge stacks; slate roof. Modern rooflights.

COURTYARD WALL WITH ARCHED ENTRANCE: rear court divided from street by mid 19th century high coped rubble wall. Keystoned, basket-arched entrance with ashlar cope linking end dies with pyramidal caps.
