Description

Late 18th century. Long 3-storey, 6-bay roofless warehouse built with gable N end to Shorehead and Old Harbour, S gable abutting slope, Harled N gable; remainder of building rubble with tooled ashlar dressings and margins. Regular fenestration in 6-bay long E elevation

with single entrance reached by masonry forestair. All 1st floor windows have chamfered margins; small 1st floor windows immediately below wallhead. Regular paired ground and 1st floor windows in N gable.

Statement of Interest

Warehouse partially restored, 1994. In an A Group with 10 Shorehead, Corf Warehouse (Portsoy Marble), Portsoy Marble Workshop, Old Co-operative Grain Store and Old Harbour.
